Ian's Marathon for Suicide Prevention and After Care
My mission is to raise over $1000 for the National Resource Center for Suicide Prevention and After Care (www.thelink.org), whilst running the Nashville Country Music Marathon on April 27th 2002.
The Link National Resource Center for Suicide Prevention and After Care conducts meetings and trainings to prevent suicide. In addition, many meetings are held with groups and families to aid in the healing for the family after the traumatic loss from suicide. These meetings aid in the healing journey of survivors. Help me to help the wonderful people at The Link, as they continue to save lives through their suicide prevention work and help re-build the lives of survivors, including children, who have lost loved ones. This is my second marathon and after my first I swore I would never do another! Help drive me on, with the knowledge that dollars will be going to a great cause for every mile I run.
